TOURNAMENT CODE OF CONDUCT
This Code of Conduct aims to encourage and promote responsible attitudes and ensure all players, coaches, managers, supporters, spectators, officials and other parties enjoy B.A.C events in a safe, fair and welcoming environment, in the spirit of fair play.
All players, coaches, managers, players supporters, volunteers, spectators and personnel at B.A.C events are bound by this Code of Conduct and shall:
treat others fairly, equally and with respect and non-discrimination, including on- and off- the field of play;
accept and observe the decision and authority of referees, touch judges and other B.A.C officials and not engage in making disparaging remarks, any acts of violence and/or intimidation;
ensure respect for the regulations set out in this Tournament Manual and Laws of the Game (with the variations set out);
abide by directions from B.A.C officials, volunteers and the medical team given in conjunction with the running of the Tournament;
not engage any behaviour which constitutes bullying, abuse and/or harassment as set out in the SRU’s Safeguarding Policy and/or the Safe Sport Unified Code;
not engage in any misconduct as defined by World Rugby Regulation 18;
not consume and/or purchase alcohol if under the age of 18;
if above the age of 18, consume alcohol responsibly and in a respectable manner, and will not put themselves or others at risk. B.A.C reserves the right to refuse participation in the match any person under the influence of alcohol and/or refuse the sale of alcohol to any person who breaches this Code of Conduct;
report any bad behaviour to B.A.C officials;
accept and comply with any penalty issued by B.A.C in conjunction with this Tournament.
